Matthias Muche
Matthias Muche (born April 7, 1972 in Bielefeld ) is a German trombonist in the field of jazz and improvisation music and media artist .
Live and act
Muche studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam , the Rotterdam Conservatorium and the Musikhochschule Köln with Henning Berg and Paulo Álvares as well as audiovisual media at the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln with Anthony Moore . He worked with dancers and multimedia artists as well as with jazz bands at the North Sea Jazz Festival .
He worked with Norbert Stein and is a member of the Schäl Sick Brass Band , the Multiple Joy (ce) Orchestra , von das Mollsche Gesetz and Niels Klein Tentett. Since 2004 he has been artistic director of Frischzelle, a festival for intermedia improvisation and composition, together with Sven Hahne . As a media artist, he combines contemporary music and new media in his audiovisual work . Works were presented in Bern, Paris and at Art Cologne .
