The Maulne is a river in France that runs in the Center-Val de Loire and Pays de la Loire regions. It rises in the municipality of Courcelles-de-Touraine , drains generally in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Loir as a left tributary after 29 kilometers at the municipal boundary of La Chapelle-aux-Choux and Le Lude . On its way the Maulne crosses the departments of Indre-et-Loire , Maine-et-Loire and Sarthe .
