Maurice John Dingman (born January 20, 1914 in West Point , Iowa , USA ; † February 1, 1992 ) was Bishop of Des Moines .

Life

Maurice John Dingman received on 8 December 1939, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 2, 1968, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Des Moines. The Apostolic Delegate to the United States, Archbishop Luigi Raimondi , ordained him episcopally on June 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Davenport , Ralph Leo Hayes , and Bishop of Davenport, Gerald Francis O'Keefe . The inauguration took place on July 7, 1968.

On October 14, 1986, Maurice John Dingman resigned as Bishop of Des Moines.
