Max Enderlein (born November 22, 1996 in Lichtenstein / Sa. ) Is a German motorcycle racer .

Career

Max Enderlein has been racing motorcycle races since 2002. At the beginning of his career he started on pocket bikes and minibikes in various competitions.

In the 2011 season Enderlein was given the opportunity to take part in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup as part of the motorcycle world championship. In 14 races he reached the points seven times and finished 22nd overall at the end of the season. Ninth place in Silverstone and at the home race at the Sachsenring were his best results. For the 2012 season, the German moved to the 125 cm³ class of the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) . As a team mate of Florian Alt , Enderlein started for the Freudenberg team and finished third in the overall standings with a victory at the Nürburgring and eight other podium places.

In 2013 and 2014 Enderlein competed in the Spanish motorcycle championship in the Moto3 class on a Honda and KTM . His best result was a tenth place in the race in Jerez 2014. In 2015 he was promoted to the Moto2 category, where he started on Kalex and scored twice. In the 2016 season, the German climbed and at the end of the year secured 19th place overall with three top 10 results, also on a Kalex motorcycle.

Enderlein returned to the IDM for the 2017 season with Team Freudenberg and came third in the Supersport 600 class on a Yamaha YZF-R 6 . In the following two years, the Saxon won the championship standings in this class, also on a Yamaha and for the Freudenberg team .

Enderlein started with a wildcard at the Supersport World Championship races in Portimão 2017 and Brno 2018 with a Yamaha R6 and achieved 19th place twice.
