Florian Alt (born April 30, 1996 in Gummersbach ) is a German motorcycle racer .

Career

Alt initially rode a pocket bike . In 2003 he was runner-up in the junior class of the Pocketbike Cup, in 2004 and 2005 German champion in the entry-level class north in the ADAC Minibike Cup . In 2005 Alt reached third place in the ADAC Minibike Saxony Championship (65 cm³). In 2006 came fourth in the ADAC Saxony Championship . In 2007 he became champion in the ADAC Minibike Cup in the junior class. In the same year he reached third place in the ADAC Minibike Saxony Championship (50 cm³). In 2008, Alt won the DMSB's two-stroke trophy and took second place in the IG premier class .

In 2009 , Alt competed for the ADAC Nordrhein Sport-Team in the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) and reached 27th place in the final ranking at the end of the season. Alt drove in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup from 2010 to 2012 . He finished eleventh in 2010, sixth in 2011 and champion in 2012.

In 2012 Florian Alt became German champion in the last 125 cc class of the IDM. He won eleven of the 16 races, all races in which he had participated.

In the 2016 season Florian Alt starts for Team MGM in the IDM on a Yamaha YZF-R1 in the Superbike class.

In 2013 Alt started for the first time in the Moto3 class of the motorcycle world championship for the German Kiefer Racing Team . In 2015 Alt started for the first time in the Moto2 class of the motorcycle world championship for the Octo Ioda Racing Team.
