Max Leuthold
Max Leuthold (born May 23, 1863 in Ehrenberg; † March 5, 1934 ) was a German officer , most recently lieutenant general . He was the last chief of the Saxon General Staff .
Life
Leuthold resulted in World War I as a commander among others, the 53rd Reserve Division (3rd Royal Saxon) and the 192nd Division (8th Royal Saxon) . He was also the commanding general of the XII. (Royal Saxon) Reserve Corps from July 24, 1918 to its dissolution on January 23, 1919 and then led the XIX. (II. Royal Saxon) Army Corps until October 2, 1919.
Leuthold was buried in the Dresden North Cemetery .
