The Max Planck Yearbook of United Nations Law (UNYB) is a legal journal, dedicated to the activities of the international law of the United Nations is concerned. The journal examines the development and expansion of the United Nations since its inception. It also provides a forum for discussion to critically assess the role of international organizations in the further development of international law and international relations .

history

In 1997 the first volume of the Max Planck Yearbook of United Nations Law was published. The editors were the directors of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg. The Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law has been publishing the Yearbook of United Nations Law since the beginning of 2014 .

  1. United Nations Law and Practice: Fundamental documents of the United Nations and its specialized agencies and programs, legal and political practice.
  2. Legal issues related to the goals of the United Nations: Analysis of challenges and difficulties in implementing the primary interests of the United Nations (sustainable development, refugee protection, disarmament and arms control, rule of law or gender equality), contributions to relevant legal developments in related countries to the United Nations.
  3. Legal and political developments at the United Nations in the reporting year.
