Max von One
Max von Eine (born September 30, 1986 in Münster ) is a German jazz musician ( trombone , composition ).
Life
Eine, great-great-nephew of the composer Gottfried von Eine , received his first trombone lessons at the age of seven. At the age of 15 he became a member of the JugendJazzOrchester NRW ; In 2005 Peter Herbolzheimer brought him to BuJazzO . In 2006 he began studying music at the Folkwang University , before moving to the Cologne University of Music . Since 2009 he has been part of the world music band Bukahara , with which he presented two recordings. Together with Götz Alsmann , he opened the Audi Jazz Festival in Cologne in 2012 . In the same year he played at the Viersen Jazz Festival with his own quartet Eine.Art . From 2013 to 2018 he was a member of the television band heavytones . He also belonged to the Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra and played in the WDR Big Band for three months . It can be heard on recordings by Hannah Köpf , Stefan Schultze , Stefan Schmid and Frida Gold .
In May 2012 von Eine won the Sparda Jazz Award 2012 with his quartet .
