Maxim Firdaussowitsch Ichsanow ( Russian Максим Фирдаусович Ихсанов ; born May 31, 1985 in Perm ) is a Russian biathlete .

Maxim Ichsanow had his first major international assignments in 2005 as part of the European Junior Championships in Novosibirsk . In the sprint he reached tenth place and was 14th in the pursuit race that followed. It took two years before he was able to start again at the 2007 Winter Universiade and was 19th in the individual in Cesana San Sicario , tenth in the sprint and tenth in the pursuit took eighth place. In the relay race he won relay bronze with Sergei Tarasov , Nikolai Elisejew and Andrei Makowejew . It took another three years before Ichsanow was able to debut in the IBU Cup in Altenberg in 2010 and finished 76th in his first sprint. In the following race in Nové Město na Moravě , an individual, he won first points in 25th place and in the sprint the next day he finished eighth in the top ten. At the start of the following season in Beitostølen , the Russian achieved a podium finish for the first time with third place in a sprint.

National won Ichsanow at the Russian Championships 2009 in Uwat in the relay race together with Vitaly Norizyn , Sergei Klyachin and Artyom Ushakov .
