Maxim Petrovich Semyonov ( Russian Максим Петрович Семёнов ; English transcription: Maxim Petrovich Semyonov ; born February 9, 1984 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a former Kazakh - Russian ice hockey player who spent his entire career in the Russian Super League and Continental Hockey League has spent.
Career
Maxim Semjonow began his career as a hockey player in the youth division of the HK Lada Tolyatti , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2002/03 season . He gave one assist in 30 games. In the 2004/05 season, the defender was runner-up with Lada. However, after he started the following season in Tolyatti, the former Kazakh youth international signed with Chimik Moskovskaya Oblast (since 2008 Atlant Mytishchi), in which he stood up in January 2013 under contract and for which he from the 2008/09 season in of the newly formed Continental Hockey League .
In January 2013 he was given in exchange for Oleg Yashin to Lokomotive Yaroslavl , but completed only nine games for Lokomotive before he was signed by Barys Astana / Nur-Sultan in June . There he ended his active career in the summer of 2020 at the age of 36.
International
For Kazakhstan, Semjonow only took part in the U18 World Cup in Division I in 2001 in the junior division . In the senior division, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in the top division in 2010 , 2014 and 2016 and in Division I in 2011 , 2013 , 2015 , when he achieved the best plus / minus balance of the tournament, and in 2017 and 2018 when he was again had the best plus / minus balance.
He also represented his country at the 2011 Asian Winter Games , where he won the gold medal with his team, and in the Olympic qualification for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang .
