Maximilian Nowatzki (born September 6, 1999 in Demmin ) is a German handball player who is used in the positions of the right back and right wing .

Career

In 2015 Nowatzki moved from SV Fortuna '50 Neubrandenburg to the B youth team of GWD Minden and played with the club's A youth in the A youth division . In the 2016/17 season they failed in the quarter-finals for the German championship at SC DHfK Leipzig . A year later in the semi-finals at Füchse Berlin Reinickendorf . He was also used in parallel in the reserve team that played in the 3rd division . Nowatzki made his debut for the professional team on March 1, 2017 at the age of 17 in the 17:41 home defeat against SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the Bundesliga . He scored his first Bundesliga goal exactly one year later in the 24:35 home defeat against the Rhein-Neckar Löwen . For the 2018/19 season he moved up to the Bundesliga team by signing a professional contract. In the 2019/20 season he was in the Bundesliga eleven times and scored two goals. In summer 2020 he moved to third division Ahlener SG . In addition, Nowatzki received a second game right for the second division TV Emsdetten.
