Mayk Bullerjahn

Mayk Bullerjahn (born November 1, 1963 in Greifswald ) is a former German soccer player who played 39 games in the GDR league for FC Hansa Rostock between 1982 and 1987 . He is a multiple GDR junior national player.

Athletic career

At the age of 13, Bullerjahn was accepted into the youth team of FC Hansa Rostock for the 1977/78 season and won the GDR youth championship with it in his first season. That earned him the inclusion in the perspective squad for the junior national team in 1980. In 1981 he was nominated for the junior selection , with which he played ten international matches as a midfielder or Libero between August 1981 and March 1982 .

In the 1982/83 season Bullerjahn appeared for the first time for Hansa Rostock in the junior league, in which he was used 15 times and scored two goals. On September 10, 1982 he also had his first appearance in the GDR league when he was substituted on in the match of the 5th match day Forward Frankfurt - Hansa Rostock (1: 2) in the 83rd minute. By the end of the season he was a substitute in four other league games, only on matchday 10 he was on the field for 90 minutes. Until 1984/85 Bullerjahn belonged to the player base of the junior team, which played after the dissolution of the junior league from 1984/85 as Hansa II in the third class district league Rostock . During this time he was used six times in the league, except for one game as a substitute. For the season 1985/86 the FC Hansa Bullerjahn announced officially for the league team. In fact, he was called up in 24 of 26 league games, either in midfield or as a libero . At the end of the season, Hansa Rostock was relegated, and Bullerjahn played 13 of the 17 point games (one goal) in the first half of the season. Then he injured himself and was only ready for action again in the first half of the 1987/88 season, when Hansa played in the major league again. However, he completed only three point games and received further assignments in the reserve team of FC Hansa who were represented in the GDR league . He was then delegated to the GDR league club BSG KKW Greifswald . This delegation was a bigger swap, in addition to Bullerjahn, Sven Sercander also had to go to BSG KKW, while Frank Wriedt and Bernd Wunderlich had to hand them over to FC Hansa in return.

Mayk Bullerjahn replaced Wriedt in defense and played 15 of the 17 point games in the second half of the 1987/88 season, most recently as a libero. In the following seasons he was also part of the Greifswalder player base, even when the company sports association (BSG) was transformed into Greifswalder SC in 1990 . This played second class until 1991, after the takeover of the GDR league system by the DFB in the third class Oberliga Nordost . In the 1991/92 season Bullerjahn was the league's top scorer. In the summer of 1994 he changed to the promoted in the Oberliga Nordost, which was now fourth class after a new league reform, to the police SV Rostock . In 1997, at the age of 33, he decided to pursue a career as a competitive athlete there.

In the 2000/01 season, Bullerjahn appeared again as the coach of the SV Warnemünde football club .
