Mayke Rocha Oliveira , called Mayke , (born November 10, 1992 in Carangola , Minas Gerais ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Mayke began his career in 2010 with his youth club Cruzeiro EC and played there on the right wing position in defense. He made it to the Cruzeiro first division team in 2013. In the same year he won the Brazilian championship with this and was honored at the end as the best right winger of the season. Mayke played his first game in the Série A on June 6, 2013, the fourth day of the season. In the home game against Corinthians São Paulo , Mayke came on for Marcos Ceará in the 10th minute . In the same season, the player also scored his first league goal. On the 15th matchday, the 15th matchday, he scored after submission by Éverton Ribeiro in the 59th minute, the interim 2-0 against EC Vitória (result-5: 1). In the home game Mayke was in the starting line-up. In the following season of 2014 Mayke made his debut at international club level. In the 2014 Copa Libertadores , Cruzeiro faced Real Garcilaso from Peru on April 10, 2014 .

Although Mayke only played a few games in the 2016 season due to a protracted injury, Cruzeiro extended his contract, which ran until December 2018, to the end of 2020 in May 2017. In the same month, it was announced that Mayke would be joining Rafael Marques Mariano from Palmeiras São Paulo zu Cruzeiro, on loan to Palmeiras until the end of 2018. Shortly before the end of the 2018 season , it was announced that Palmeiras had bought the player from Cruzeiro from the 2019 season. The contract had a term of five years. The transfer fee was not disclosed. It is said to have amounted to 17.5 million reals. At the end of the season Mayke was Brazilian champion for the third time, after he had already achieved this with Cruzeiro in 2013 and '14.
