Mehmet Nas (born November 20, 1979 in Kelkit , Gümüşhane ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Mehmet Nas began his professional football career with what was then the first division club Samsunspor . In the 1997/98 season, in addition to his work in the second team, he was also involved in the professional squad of Samsun. In his first two seasons, he made eleven league games for the professional team. From the 1999/2000 season he made the leap into the regular formation and played for Samsunspor until the 2003/04 season.

After the 2003/04 season he moved to Gençlerbirliği within the league . Nas was a regular here from the start and spent five seasons at the capital club. After 5th place in his first season and sixth place in 2006 and 2007, the club played against relegation in the following years. In the 2008/09 season , Mehmet Nas and Gençlerbirliği only managed to stay up because of the better direct comparison.

In 2009/10 he moved within the league to promoted Manisaspor . Here he was able to assert himself as a regular player, but expressed the wish to leave the club at the end of the season.

So he moved to the 2010/11 season for league rivals Sivasspor .

In the summer of 2013, Nas left Sivasspor and moved to Sanica Boru Elazığspor within the Süper Lig .

For the 2014/15 season Nas moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . After a year for Gaziantep BB, he was signed by second division club Sivas Belediyespor in the summer of 2015 .

National team

Mehmet Nas appeared 22 times for the Turkish U-21 national team . He and his team took part in the U-21 European Football Championship in 2000 . Here, however, they were eliminated in the group stage.
