Meike Gehring

Meike Gehring (born November 17, 1985 in Emsdetten ) is a German television presenter and journalist .

life and career

Gehring studied sociology , English and German at the University of Cologne from 2006 to 2011 . During her studies, she worked for student radio and made stops at Sat.1 , RTL , ZDF and WDR . She then worked as a reporter and editor for RTL Punkt 12 and Guten Morgen Deutschland in Cologne. In these programs, she introduced the viewers to the metropolises of Europe in her own travel section and reported live from Berlin Fashion Week .

In 2015 she moved to RTL II News in Berlin, where she became the lifestyle face of the show and also reported as a reporter in the areas of news , politics, sport, entertainment and VIP . Among other things, she reported live from the FDP during the 2017 federal election and from the Berlin Fan Mile during the 2018 World Cup .

She has been the presenter of RTL II News since 2018. She also moderates the music show The Dome on RTL II and in November 2018 presented the show The Dome Comeback at the side of Giovanni Zarrella , Julia Krüger and Lisa and Lena .
