Meinern is a district of the city of Soltau in the Heidekreis district in Lower Saxony . The village has about 285 inhabitants. The hamlets Alm , Barmbruch , Großeholz , Lütjeholz , Weißenkamp and Willingen also belong to mine .

Meinern is located in the Lüneburg Heath, southwest of Soltau. Landesstrasse 163 and Kreisstrasse 14 run through Meinern .
