Melissa Spooner is a former Canadian triathlete and three-time Ironman winner (1998, 1999 and 2000).

Career

In 1993 Melissa Spooner started the long distance for the first time (3.86 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running) and in May 1998 she won the Ironman Lanzarote.

4th Ironman Hawaii 1998

In October 1998, Spooner finished fourth at the Ironman Hawaii. In 1999 she was tenth at the ITU World Championships in Sweden on the long distance. Melissa Spooner was trained by Lance Watson .

In 2004 she ended her active career.
