Merika Enne (born June 24, 1992 in Tampere ) is a Finnish snowboarder . She starts in the freestyle disciplines.

Career

Enne has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions since 2007 . She won her first national win at the Finnish Cup in February 2007. At the Snowboard World Championships 2011 in La Molina , she finished 29th on the halfpipe and fourth in slopestyle . In April 2011 she won silver in slopestyle at the 2011 Snowboard Junior World Championships in Valmalenco . She drove her first FIS World Cup race in December 2011 in Ruka , which she finished in fifth place on the halfpipe. At the 2012 Snowboard World Championships in Oslo , she came 23rd in slopestyle. At the Snowboard World Championships 2013 in Stoneham , she came back to fourth place in slopestyle. In January 2014 she won slopestyle at the 12th Red Bull Nanshan Open in Beijing . A week later she finished fifth in slopestyle at the Burton European Open in Laax . At her first Olympic participation in Sochi in 2014 , she reached 21st place in slopestyle. She finished the 2013/14 season in fifth place in the overall tour standings. At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , she won silver in Big Air .
