coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved on January 13, 1997 by the Magdeburg Regional Council.
Blazon : "In red a sloping silver ladder with five rungs, each with a rising silver ear."
The church colors are silver (white) - red.
The founder of Meseberg was Ekbert von Herbike und Meseberge in 1040. There was a ladder in the family coat of arms of the founding family. With the leader in the municipal coat of arms, the Mesebergers would like to remember the founders of the place. The ears of wheat are intended to draw attention to the agricultural traditions of the community.
