Meslin ( Breton : Melin ) is a village and a former French community with 978 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Côtes-d'Armor in the region of Brittany . It belonged to the arrondissement of Saint-Brieuc and the canton of Lamballe .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Lamballe and Meslin were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Lamballe of the same name and had the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters were in Lamballe.
With effect from January 1, 2019, the Commune nouvelle Lamballe was merged with the municipalities of Morieux and Planguenoual , thereby forming a new Commune nouvelle with the name Lamballe-Armor . All former municipalities - including Meslin - received the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Lamballe.
