Michaël Loichat (born March 31, 1990 in La Chaux-de-Fonds ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with Friborg-Gottéron in the National League A.
Career
Michaël Loichat began his career as a hockey player in the youth team of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds . He made his NLA debut in the 2009/10 season at EV Zug . Since he did not prevailed could, he played in the following years in the National League B at EHC Visp and EHC Basel before he shortly before the play-offs 2012/13 to SC Bern in the National League A reinforced. Due to good performance in the play-offs, he then received a contract with SC Bern. With the SCB he won the Swiss championship in 2013 and the Swiss cup competition in 2015 .
From the 2015/16 season he was under contract with Friborg-Gottéron , but had to contend with the consequences of a concussion and several other injuries, so that he could only play a few games for Friborg and did not receive a new contract in 2017.
International
For Switzerland Michaël participated in several Under-17, Under-18 and Under-20 tournaments.
