Michael Giovanni Bryan (born June 9, 1992 in Fort Campbell , Tennessee , USA ) is a German -American athlete who specializes in sprints . He also ran seasons . Bryan has a German mother and has dual citizenship.

career path

Michael Bryan was from 2007 to 2010 on the Ellison High School in Killeen ( Texas ). From 2010 to 2015, he attended Texas A&M University (TAMU), where he completed a bachelor's degree in sports management . Bryan would like to take a coaching position at a university after his sports career.

Athletic career

Bryan has been running competitions since seventh grade, and he did his first two years of high school to keep in shape for football . After the eleventh grade of high school, he took the sport more seriously and came to a level of performance that he was allowed to start for the TAMU .

In 2013 he was among the top 10 of the all-time best list of the TAMU on the 60 meter distance.

In 2014, Bryan Texas was the A&M record holder with the 4 x 400 meter relay.

He has been racing for Germany since 2016 and came 7th at the German Championships over 200 meters.

In 2017 Bryan became German indoor champion in Leipzig over 60 meters with a personal best in 6.67 s and qualified for the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade . In Erfurt he came in 4th place at the German championships in the 100 meter run.

Club affiliations

Michael Bryan has been working for LC Rehlingen since 2018 . From 2016 he was with TSG 1862 Weinheim and before that with the team at Texas A&M University (TAMU).
