Michael Crafter
Michael Richard Crafter (born June 28, 1981 ) is an Australian rock and metal musician and music manager. He lives the straight edge way of life.
Career
As a musician
He is a founding member of I Killed the Prom Queen , where he acted as a singer until the band broke up. He can be heard on all of the group's releases. The album Music for the Recently Deceased , which was recorded in 2006 with new vocal tracks after he was kicked out of the band, contains a second CD with the vocal parts in the 2011 version, which was newly released. In 2008 he played the Say Goodbye farewell tour with the band .
After I Killed the Prom Queen broke up in 2006, he joined the group Carpathian , which released their debut album Nothing to Lose shortly before his engagement as a singer . After seven months, in early 2007, they parted ways. Crafter has never worked with the band on a sound carrier, but with larger opinions. He joined the American band Bury Your Dead , which he left again in May of the same year due to personal differences with the other musicians.
In 2008 he founded the band Confession , whose musicians come from Byron Bay , Brisbane , Adelaide , Melbourne and Victoria . With the group he recorded an EP and two albums: Can't Live, Can't Breathe (EP, 2008), Cancer (album, 2009) and The Long Way Home (album, 2011). The latter album entered the domestic charts .
He was also the manager of the death metal band Thy Art Is Murder from Sydney for some time . He also organizes the Prepare to Burn Festival .
Blogger, clothing line and television
Crafter is well known in the Australian music scene. He ran the blog Broken Glass Online , which was blocked because of the partially pornographic content. Such content was found on his second forum, Can't Stop Won't Stop .
In 2008 he took part in the Big Brother television series . There, however, he was elected from the house after three days. His choice, however, was deliberate as he was on their farewell tour with I Killed the Prom Queen. He can also be seen in the documentation of the band Parkway Drive on their DVD ( Parkway Drive: The DVD ).
Crafter founded his own fashion label under the name Mistake Clothing .
