Michael Gore
Michael Gore (* 5. March 1951 in Brooklyn , New York City as Michael Goldstein ) is an American composer .
Life
Together with his older sister, the singer Lesley Gore , Michael Gore won the 1980 Oscar for best film music as well as the Oscar for best song with the song Fame in the film of the same name.
Michael Gore is the nephew of producer Howie Horwitz .
