Michael Heun
Michael Heun (born December 2, 1967 in Hanover ) is a German journalist for daily newspapers and magazines . Most recently he was editor-in-chief of the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung .
Life
Heun attended high school in Burgdorf , which he graduated from high school in 1988 . He then studied modern German literature, political science and journalism at the Free University of Berlin and completed a traineeship at the Axel Springer journalism school from 1996 . From 1998 to 2002 he was head of the service and local manager of the Berliner Morgenpost , before moving as deputy editor-in-chief to the TV week magazine and then to the Berliner Kurier , where he worked from 2003 to 2008.
Between 2008 and 2012, Heun was editor-in-chief of the program guides at a glance and TVklar . Both titles are published by the Bauer Media Group in Hamburg.
From September 2012 to February 2014, Heun headed the media agency Bengreta Media. From March 2014 to January 2016 he was editor-in-chief of Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung , Germany's oldest daily newspaper still in existence. Since February 2017, he has been head of the first newsroom in Germany as head of news desk, in which a subscription title (Berliner Zeitung), a tabloid (Berliner Kurier) and the associated digital notes are jointly produced.
Michael Heun was awarded the German Local Journalist Prize in 1995 and 2002. He lives in Berlin and Sarstedt near Hanover and has two children.
