Michael Joe Küspert

Michael Johannes Helmut Küspert (born November 2, 1957 in Wunsiedel , † November 22, 2014 in Berlin ) was a German screenwriter , director , journalist , photographer and designer .

Küspert attended high school in Wunsiedel . In 1977, together with Ulrich Kaffarnik , he founded the “International Borderland Film Festival ”, which is still held in Selb today. In 1981 he organized the “Traveling Documentary Film Festival” together with Martin Wünsch (aka Martin Stark), which later became the “International Documentary Film Festival Kassel”. First After that he worked as a manager and later as production manager , sound engineer , film editor and film producer . Since 1988 he has been making documentaries and feature films as a director, some of which have received international awards, e.
