The song about the city

Michael Krowas (born May 1, 1963 in Hanover ) is a German author , singer and actor .

Live and act

Krowas took part in the nationwide first "popular music model experiment" at the Hamburg University of Music and Performing Arts (today Hamburg University of Music and Theater ). Later he worked as a singer a. a. with Knut Kiesewetter , Lorenz Westphal (Lonzo) , Jens Krause and André Bauer . In 1988 he won the Hamburg Hörfest with the band "Joy & Pain".

He released three singles under the pseudonym Mikle Ross - "Julia Cries", "I wanna be with you" and "I don't need a dream tonight", both of which were produced by Hanz Marathon. Under the pseudonym Max B. he released the single "When Angels Come Down" (producers Hanz Marathon and CC Behrens ) in 1989 on Koch Records GmbH .

Together with Michael Bartel (1959–2019) he wrote the song for Das Werner-Rennen "We bet on Werner". This did not bring the band "Bartel und die Pappnasen", however, the hoped-for success, because shortly afterwards the band " Torfrock " with "Beinhart", the title song of the first Werner comic adaptation Werner - Beinhart! conquered the charts.

From 1988 to 1990 he presented the ARD television lottery " Carlot " together with Lou Richter and Katja Seka .

In 1999, Krowas dubbed the main role in the German version of the adventure game Discworld Noir by British author Terry Pratchett . The role of Detective Luton was the biggest single role to be spoken in a computer game to date, and Antje Roosch was in charge of the recording .

In 2015, Krowas wrote the Hanover anthem "The city that rarely sleeps" for the band NANOS together with Claus-Dieter Schacht .

Krowa's current musical project is called "Have yourself a jazzy little christmas". He will play the concept concert at Christmas time with bassist Hervé Jeanne , Thomas Zander ( saxophone ), Andreas Meyer ( keyboard ) and Timo Warnecke and Dieter Schmigelok ( drums ).
