Michael Seirton
Michael Seirton (born before 1977) is a British art director and production designer who won an Oscar for best production design and was nominated for that Oscar again.
Life
Seirton began his career as an art director and production designer in 1977 for the television series Die Profis and worked on the staging of over thirty films and television series until 2004.
At the Academy Awards 1982 he was nominated together with Richard Sylbert for the Oscar for the best production design in Reds (1981) by and with Warren Beatty as well as Diane Keaton and Edward Herrmann in the leading roles .
In 1983 he won the Oscar with Stuart Craig and Robert W. Laing for Gandhi (1982) by Richard Attenborough with Ben Kingsley , Candice Bergen and Edward Fox .
