Reviews

  • The lexicon of international film : The “basic comedy constellation” is “classic”, lifeless and pointless and the main actors appear “listless”.
  • William Arnold in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer : The leading actors “shine” if you take into account the “limitations of the script”. The comedy offers neither the “psychological insight” nor the “ongoing inspiration of a screwball comedy ”. However, they rely more on the "bitter-sour" dialogues and the characters than on the "usual penis-related jokes". ( full review (English) )
  • Ruthe Stein in the San Francisco Chronicle : The "clever" dialogues are the "main attraction" of the comedy. ( full criticism ) (English)
