Michaela Marwich (born September 30, 1962 ; pseudonyms: Ela M. , Valeska Réon ) is a German writer .

Michaela Marwich is in Rhineland born in a hippie - municipality in Renesse ( Netherlands grew up). After graduating from high school , she began training as a hairdresser and worked as a model . In addition to writing, she is currently working as a speaker in German-speaking countries and as a blogger and editor .

After the appearance of Flowers for a Chameleon , the author's autobiography , the filmmaker Jakob M. Erwa secured the option rights with the Männerschwarm Verlag and developed a script . Funding came from the Vienna Film Fund and, in December 2018, from the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW in the amount of € 750,000. The actors Katja Riemann , Udo Kier and Justus von Dohnányi were cast in the leading roles . The shooting takes place in Germany , Austria , France and Belgium . The film is slated to hit cinemas in 2020 under the title VALESKA .
