Michel Constantin

Michel Constantin (born July 13, 1924 as Constantin Hokloff in Billancourt , † August 29, 2003 in Draguignan ) was a French actor .

Life

The son of Eastern European immigrants made his film debut in 1956 in the comedy Das Gänseblümchen ist defoliated with Brigitte Bardot , in which he was seen as a striptease spectator. He became known in 1960 with the leading role of Jo Cassine in The Hole by Jacques Becker .

Since then he has mainly been seen in gangster roles, including a. 1966 in The Second Breath by Jean-Pierre Melville , in A Bull Sees Red by Yves Boisset and in Cold Sweat by Terence Young and as a commissioner in Ein great Bluff by Georges Lautner .
