Michelle Thomas (actress)

Michelle Thomas (born September 23, 1968 in Boston , Massachusetts , † December 23, 1998 in New York City , New York ) was an American actress .

Life

Born in Boston to Phynjuar and Dennis Thomas, she grew up in Montclair, New Jersey . In addition to her role as Justine on the Bill Cosby Show , Michelle Thomas was best known as Myra Monkhouse on the sitcom All Under One Roof .

In 1998, the African American woman died at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center at the age of 30 from complications from stomach cancer . At her side was her ex-boyfriend Malcolm-Jamal Warner , who played as Theo Huxtable on the Bill Cosby Show .

Her father Dennis Thomas is a member of the successful band Kool & the Gang .
