Micho Mossulischwili , also Micheil Mossulischwili , ( Georgian მიხო * ; born December 10, 1962 in Araschenda , municipality Gurdschaani ) is a Georgian writer and playwright .

Life

Mosulishvili studied at the State University of Tbilisi at the Faculty of Geology and took cinema dramaturgy as a minor. He then worked as a geologist and as a journalist for various newspapers. Mosulishvili has published several short stories, novels and plays in Georgian and translated three novels by Boris Akunin . His plays have been performed in theaters and on television in Georgia. Some of his works have been translated into Latvian, English, German, Armenian and Russian.

The physicist Liguri Mosulishvili was Micho's uncle; and the style of his different thinking influenced Micho Mosulishvili’s creativity.

Mosulishvili is married and has one daughter.

His main work is the picaresque novel Prena ukasrod (ფრენა უკასროდ, flight without a barrel ) (Tiflis, Sulakauri, 2001 Tiflis, Gumbati-2007, 2011 ISBN 978-9941-0-3160-1 ). In Georgia he always topped the bestseller lists.
