The Midzhur Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Миджур wrach Midschur ) is a 1500 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the southeastern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises 3.15 km east-northeast of Mount Benson , 7.91 km south-southwest of Taylor Spur and 3.6 km northwest of Johnson Spur as one of the peaks of Doyran Heights . The Remington Glacier is to the north and the Obelja Glacier is south of it.
US scientists mapped it in 1988. The Bulgarian Antarctic Place-names Commission named him in 2011 after the mountain Midžor in the western Balkan Mountains in Bulgaria .
