Mika Hakala (born December 11, 1971 ) is a Finnish biathlete .

Mika Hakala played his first and only biathlon race at the third station of the 2000/01 World Cup season in Osrblie and Antholz , where he was 96th of the individual and 95th of the sprint. In 2002 he entered the Biathlon European Championships in Kontiolahti , where he was 42nd of the individual, 49th of the sprint and 39th of the pursuit. It took more than three years until the next major event, the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2005 in Muonio . Hakala reached ranks 15 in the mass start and sprint, was 13th in the pursuit and was fifth in the relay with Timo Antila , Juuso Penttilä and Tapio Pukki . Two years later, the Finn was in Otepaa at the Cross Country 20. Competitions of the sprint, 22 of the Mass Start and Kaisa Mäkäräinen , Teija Lehtimäki and Jouni Kinnunen Eighth mixed relay race. After that he only started in the IBU Cup until 2010 , where a 38th place in his last sprint race in Beitostølen was the best result and the only result in the points.
