Mike Agostini (actually Michael George Raymond Agostini ; born January 23, 1935 in Port of Spain ; † May 12, 2016 in Sydney ) was a sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago .

Agostini achieved first national successes in 1951 when he won the 100 and 200 m races in the 16-19 age group at the national championships. In 1952 he defeated Andy Stanfield in a private race over 100 m . In 1954 he won gold over 100 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver . The following year he won silver over 100 m and bronze over 200 m at the Pan American Games in Mexico City .

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he was sixth over 100 m and fourth over 200 m.

In 1958 he competed for Canada at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff and won bronze over 100 yards. For the West Indian Federation he started a year later at the Pan American Games in Chicago and again won silver over 100 m and bronze over 200 m. He also won bronze with the West Indian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 1959 he moved to Australia and lived there for the rest of his life. In 2016, he died of pancreatic cancer in Sydney .
