Milan Biševac ( Serbian - Cyrillic Милан Бишевац ; born August 31, 1983 in Titova Mitrovica , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player.

Career

Biševac began his professional career in 2001 at FK BASK , where he was able to establish himself as a regular player and played a total of 52 league games there until 2003. In 2003 and 2004 he played for half a year at FK Bežanija and FK Železnik . In 2004 he switched to the Serbian top club FK Red Star Belgrade , who paid 500,000 euros for Biševac. So far he has been able to assert himself as a regular player at all club stations, including at Red Star. He stayed there until 2007, when he was drawn to the French Ligue 1 for RC Lens for 1.2 million euros . He played his first game on February 3, 2007 against Valenciennes FC .

He switched to the 2008/09 season for three million euros and signed a four-year contract. He scored his first goal for his new club on September 26, 2009 in a 3-2 home win over Olympique Marseille . With the Valenciennes FC Biševac occupied places in the middle of the table.

In July 2011, he signed a three-year contract with league rivals Paris Saint-Germain . Here he only stayed one season and joined Olympique Lyon . With the club Biševac placed in the top third of the table every season and also played in the UEFA Europa League .

In January 2016 he then moved to the Italian club Lazio Rom for six months and moved on to FC Metz in the summer . While the league was still successful in the first year , the Lorraine were relegated from Ligue 1 at the end of the 2017/18 season . At the end of July 2018, the Luxembourg champion F91 Dudelange announced the commitment of Bisevac. In his first season with F91 Dudelange, he qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League . After only seven competitive games in which he scored a goal, his contract was not extended after the season and he joined second division Swift Hesperange .

National team

With the U-21 he won the silver medal at the U-21 European Football Championship in Germany in 2004 . He was also in the squad for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , where they finished fourth in Group C behind eventual winners Argentina , Australia and Tunisia . In the U-21 he played nine games

He made his international debut in the senior national team on August 16, 2006 in a friendly against the Czech Republic . After a total of 19 internationals, he ended his career there in 2014.

In the 2005/06 season Biševac managed to win the Serbian Cup and the Serbian Championship with his then club Red Star Belgrade . He became champion the following year with Red Star Belgrade. In 2019 he won the Luxembourg championship with the F91 Dudelange .
