Milica Gardašević (born September 28, 1998 in Novi Sad ) is a Serbian long jumper .

Athletic career

Milica Gardašević gained her first international experience at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Utrecht 2013. In the long jump, she took fourth place with 5.91 m. In 2015 she represented Serbia at the European Team Championship (2nd division) in Stara Sagora , where she finished seventh. At the U18 World Championships in Cali , she jumped 6.20 m in the final to sixth place. In 2016 she took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland , where she finished eleventh with 5.95 meters. In 2017, she also represented her country at the European Team Championship (2nd division) in Tel Aviv , where she again achieved seventh place with 6.19 meters. In 2017 she celebrated her greatest success so far by winning the gold medal at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto . In the following year she qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated with 6.26 m in the qualification, as well as at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow in 2019 with 6.41 m. She then won the bronze medal at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with a width of 6.43 m behind the French Hilary Kpatcha and Petra Farkas from Hungary.

In 2017 and 2018 Gardašević was Serbian champion in the long jump outdoors and from 2016 to 2018 also in the hall.
