The Mill Creek ( English for "Mühlbach") is a 45 km long right tributary of the Ohio River in the southern US state of Ohio .

He drained an area of 425 square kilometers and is part of the river system of the Mississippi River . It drains into the Gulf of Mexico via the Ohio River and Mississippi River .

The Mill Creek rises in the Fairfield Township in Butler County , about seven kilometers east of the city of Hamilton . It flows in a generally south-southwest direction through Counties Butler and Hamilton and joins the Ohio River west of downtown Cincinnati . Its main tributaries are the 15 miles long West Fork Mill Creek and the 7 miles long East Fork Mill Creek . Most of the catchment area is in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Cincinnati.

According to the Geographic Names Information System , the river has also been called Bloody Run, Hill Creek, and Mah-pet-e-wa throughout its history .
