action

Remi is a dedicated elementary school teacher in the South Bronx, New York. It is difficult for her to find a husband. One of the reasons for this is their great interest in insects. A few years ago Remi was involved in breeding a new species of insect, a genetically modified cross between termites and praying mantises, the so-called Judas breeding. They should help against the cockroach plague. This breed had the property of changing their appearance significantly and even imitating humans, which was fatal to humans themselves. Back then it was thought to have killed all the insects.

But at least one of them survived and evolved. This specimen can imitate human faces deceptively real and is after Remi. However, it doesn't want to kill the teacher, but rather to mate with her. Therefore, it does not tolerate any other men around Remi and kills their dates.

In Remi's school there is contact with the giant insect. Remi tries to escape from the school with two of her students and a police officer and admirer at the same time. After a nerve-wracking escape across the school, Remi and the two children can leave the building, which has now been completely surrounded and quarantined.

Due to the gift of adapting its appearance to other living beings, the monster, which disguises itself as a draw lover, the police officer, also escapes from school. Later, Remi faces the insect, which has perfected its adaptability, again in her apartment. With a trick she outwits the monster and kills the last of its kind.
