Paul Schulze (actor)

Paul Schulze (born June 12, 1962 ) is an American actor .

Life

Schulze grew up in New York as the son of a Lutheran pastor and has already played in several pieces at the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service ( New York University ). He graduated from there in 1977 and from Stuyvesant High School ( Manhattan ) in 1980 . He began his acting career in 1989 with a supporting role in the movie Suspicion of Love . After graduating from the State University of New York ("SUNY Purchase"), it wasn't long before he got his first leading role in the independent film Laws of Gravity .

Schulze had numerous guest appearances in television series, such as in The Sopranos , CSI: Vegas , Law & Order , Oz - Hell Behind Bars , Navy CIS , Frasier , Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten , Justice - Not Guilty , Boston Legal and Mad Men . He gained greater fame through his role as Ryan Chappelle in the television series 24 .

From 2009 Schulze was seen alongside Edie Falco in the dramedy series Nurse Jackie .
