Minhang

Minhang (闵行区Mǐnháng Qū ) is a Chinese municipality in the government-immediate city of Shanghai .

It has 751,154 inhabitants (2003) on an area of ​​371.68 square kilometers. The population density is 2,021 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The southwesternmost station on Line 1 of the Shanghai Subway is in the Xinzhuang community .

In 1992, Minhang was transformed from a district into the current city district.

Administrative structure

At the community level, Minhang is made up of three street districts and nine large communities . These are:

Greater community Xinzhuang (莘庄镇), Government seat of the district;
Gumei Street District (古 美 街道);
Street District Jiangchuan Lu (江川路街道);
Xinhong Street (新 虹 街道);
