Putuo

Putuo ( Chinese 普陀区 , Pinyin Pǔtuó Qū ) is one of the ten inner city districts of the government- direct city of Shanghai in the People's Republic of China .

Putuo has an area of 54.83 square kilometers and 845,339 inhabitants (2003). The population density is 15,417 inhabitants per square kilometer.

Administrative structure

At the community level, Putuo is made up of six street districts and three large communities . These are:

Greater community Zhenru (真如镇), Government seat of the district;

Quarter Road Caoyang Xincun (曹杨新村街道);

Road quarter Changfeng Xincun (长风新村街道);

Changshou Lu Street District (长寿路街道);

Ganquan Lu Street (甘泉路街道);

Shiquan Lu Street District (石泉路街道);

Road neighborhood Yichuan Lu (宜川路街道);

Greater community Changzheng (长征镇);

Greater Taopu Community (桃浦镇).
