Technical regulations

Only vehicles of the Mini brand that have been prepared by BMW Switzerland are permitted. The regulations are very strict and do not allow changes to be made to parts that affect aerodynamic or driving dynamics components such as the engine, transmission and brakes.

In the interior of the vehicle, safety-related modifications such as roll bars and fire extinguishing systems, as well as the removal of the rear seat, on-board tools and parcel shelf are permitted. In addition, large parts of the interior remain untouched.

Repairs and the spare parts service are handled exclusively via official Mini agencies in Switzerland or Mini Service partners. At official Swiss Mini agencies or service partners, repairs and spare parts are documented using the repair or spare parts form. Before the start of the race, the repairs carried out or the spare parts installed are checked for their implementation in accordance with these regulations. The technical acceptance takes place on the racing course.
