Minor Earth, Major Sky is the sixth studio album by the Norwegian pop rock band a-ha . It was released on April 17, 2000.
history
After a seven year break, a-ha released their comeback album in April 2000. Almost the entire record was reworked radio-friendly with producer Niven Garland, especially for the important German market. Summer Moved On , the title track and the Savoy cover Velvet were released as singles. Also was with I Wish I Cared an Internet download single first published, the first of the band and then still quite rare. The album reached number 1 and platinum status in Germany.
criticism
Aaron Badgley of Allmusic wrote that the record was almost perfect in terms of production. He criticized the fact that the tempo of the pieces was not varied very much. Overall, this is a good album. It awarded 3 out of 5 stars.
