Miomir Žužul

Miomir Žužul (born June 19, 1955 in Split ) is a Croatian politician and diplomat .

Žužul received his doctorate in psychology from the University of Zagreb and a doctorate in conflict management from the John F. Kennedy School of Government , a branch of Harvard University .

Žužul was from 1992 to 1993 Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and from 1993 to 1996 Ambassador to the United Nations . From 1996 to 2000 he was the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the United States . Žužul held the post of Foreign Minister from 2003 to 2005 .

After accusations of corruption from his own party ( HDZ ), Žužul resigned from the post of foreign minister in February 2005.
