Mireia Gutiérrez Cabanes (born October 9, 1988 in Andorra la Vella ) is an Andorran ski racer . Your strongest disciplines are slalom and giant slalom .
biography
Gutiérrez contested her first FIS race on December 13, 2003 and celebrated her first victory. By 2011 she was able to win nine more FIS races. Since March 2004 Gutiérrez has also started in the European Cup . Her first place in the points she achieved on February 23, 2007 with rank 28 in the slalom of Pal in her home country. Her best result so far in the European Cup is fourth place in the indoor slalom in Wittenburg on November 20, 2009. Gutiérrez contested her first race in the World Cup , the slalom in La Molina , on December 14, 2008, in which she did not qualify for the second pass qualified. After that, only a few other World Cup starts have followed so far in which she has not yet won any World Cup points.
From 2006 to 2008 Gutiérrez took part in three Junior World Championships . Her best result was 28th place in the 2008 slalom . In February 2009 she started as the only runner from Andorra at the World Championships in Val-d'Isère . In the Super Combined she was in 19th place and in the Super G in 29th place. In the slalom, she was eliminated in the first round. On November 7, 2009 Gutiérrez reached the eighth place at the European Indoor Championships in Amnéville . At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , she finished 24th in the super combined and 28th in the downhill. She did not finish in slalom, giant slalom and Super-G. At the 2011 World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , Gutiérrez started in the Super-G, the Super Combined, the Giant Slalom and the Slalom, but was canceled in all four competitions. Gutiérrez has won the slalom six times and the giant slalom seven times at national championships.
On January 4, 2014, she reached 20th place in the World Cup slalom in Zagreb and thus achieved eleven World Cup points.
