Miro Ćosić (born September 9, 1983 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian biathlete .

Miro Ćosić is a PE teacher and lives in Pale . The biathlete from the Igman association is trained by his father Zoran Ćosić . In 1990 he started biathlon and has been a member of his country's national team since 2000.

Ćosić first started at the beginning of the 2001/02 season in Hochfilzen in the Biathlon World Cup and was 108th of the individual. The first major event was the Junior World Championships in 2002 in Ridanna with a 74th place in the individual and an 80th place in the sprint. In 2003 she followed the Junior World Championships in Kościelisko with a 73rd place in the individual and 74th place in the sprint. He also took part in a major men's event for the first time at the 2003 European Biathlon Championships in Forni Avoltri . At the continental championships he was 54th of the individual and 61st of the sprint. 2004 Ćosić ran his third Junior World Championships in Haute-Maurienne . He was 65th in the individual and 66th in the sprint. A year later he took part in the Biathlon World Championships in 2005 in Hochfilzen and was 110 both in the individual and in the sprint. During the season, he achieved his best result in a World Cup race as 82nd of a sprint in Pokljuka . Biggest success was the participation in the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin . At the competitions of Cesana San Sicario Ćosić reached 83rd place in the individual and 84th in the sprint.

In the summer Ćosić took part in the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2006 in Ufa and was 30th in the sprint of cross-country runners and 16th in the pursuit of roller skiers. Two years later he again took part in the 2008 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute Maurienne, where he was 23rd in the sprint and pursuit of cross-country runners and 40th in the sprint of roller ski competitions. In 2009 he took part in the European Biathlon Championships in Ufa and finished 49th in the sprint, but did not finish the individual, the pursuit and the relay race.
