With his new club, Krstajić won the DFL League Cup ; In 2005 and 2007 he was runner-up with Schalke. After the 16th matchday of the 2007/08 season, Krstajić drew attention to himself through an unauthorized visit to the disco until the early hours of the morning. He was then suspended on the day of the UEFA Champions League game against Rosenborg Trondheim , which was decisive for remaining in European competition . After his contract with FC Schalke 04 was not renewed after the 2008/09 season, Krstajić moved back to the Serbian club FK Partizan Belgrade , where he signed a two-year contract. During his nine-year Bundesliga career, Krstajić played 243 games and scored 18 goals.

Between 1999 and 2008, Krstajić played 59 international matches for the Yugoslav or Serbian-Montenegrin national soccer team and the Serbian national soccer team , scoring 2 goals.

So that they make him the process as they made him us ”. For this statement, FIFA imposed a fine of 5000 Swiss francs on Krstajić.
