Moa Olsson (born July 6, 1997 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Olsson, who starts for the Falun Borlänge SK , competed in junior races until 2017. In March 2014 she became the Swedish junior champion in skiathlon in Lycksele . At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râșnov , she finished 35th over 10 km freestyle and the following year at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Soldier Hollow, 17th place over 5 km freestyle, tenth place in the skiathlon and fifth place with the relay. She ran her first races in the Scandinavian Cup in December 2016 in Lillehammer , which she finished in 49th place in the sprint and 47th place over 5 km freestyle. At the U23 World Championships in Goms in 2018 , she came in 38th place over 10 km classic, 23rd place in the skiathlon and 11th place in the sprint. In the 2018/19 season she achieved four top ten placements, eighth place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. In January 2019 she started the World Cup for the first time in Ulricehamn and finished 44th in the 10 km freestyle. In the summer of 2019 she took part in the Rollerski World Cup and achieved fourth place in the overall World Cup. At the Rollerski World Championships in Madona she won the gold medal in the team sprint together with Linn Sömskar . In the 2019/20 season she reached her first podium in the Scandinavian Cup in Nes Skianlegg with third place over 10 km classic and second place over 20 km freestyle and took 22nd place in the 10 km in Falun in February 2020 -Mass start races their first World Cup points. Her best results at the U23 World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal were sixth place in the 15 km mass start race and fourth place in the mixed relay.
